A Year in Review: Thieved from the Barrel
Join Master Distiller Owen Martin for a special barrel thieving event that explores the innovation of the previous year and takes a look at what's next. Guests will enjoy a welcome reception, then embark on a progressive style tasting through the distillery. Guests will sample three Angel's Envy 2025 releases straight from the barrel, along with a sneak peek of an unreleased product. The evening concludes in the Toasting Room with a cocktail, hors d'oeuvres, and a closing conversation with Owen Martin. One ticket includes two cocktails, four whiskey samples, hors d'oeuvres, a souvenir glass, and one 375mL bottle of Angel's Envy Cask Strength Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon.

One of the most detail tours about distilling process I have reviewed. Tour guide was very informative about all aspects of the process. The Art of Single Barrel tour was worth the extra cost. Sampled some of the best offerings and even tried others at bar. This was a truly Angelic Tour.

Right on the end of Whiskey Row, this is worth the walk. We did a tasting, and Travis was MORE than knowledgeable about the whiskey. It was paired with amazing chocolates of orange, apricot, and white. Surprisingly, they had a peated bourbon! It is a limited edition and so amazing. I grabbed two bottles. No special prices. Everything was retail pricing. Got the T-shirt. Got the lapel pin. Half off tasting with military ID. Remember his name: Travis the expert bourbon guy!

Really fun tour. Like their bourbon too. Our tour guide Anderson was funny and informational. Already told my friends going they should pop in. I actually think the most unique thing about their tasting was the little paired chocolates. They really do help bring out the flavor!

I’d give Angel’s Envy Distillery a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The distillery itself is absolutely beautiful—clean, well-designed, and clearly takes pride in presentation. The overall atmosphere made the visit worthwhile, and there was a great variety of drinks to try, which added to the experience. Unfortunately, the tour guide was the one drawback. He seemed like he was just going through the motions and wasn’t very personable or engaging. At one point, he mentioned that he occasionally gets free booze, and honestly, it felt like that might’ve been his main motivation for being there. He didn’t do a great job explaining the industry or the product, which took away from what could have been a really educational experience. There were even moments where he would just stop talking and walk away without any direction—we all found ourselves looking at each other, unsure if we were supposed to follow him or not. That said, the quality of the distillery itself and the product selection still made it a worthwhile stop. I just wish the guide had matched the level of excellence the rest of the place clearly strives for.
